VIETNAM STEEL ASSOCIATION (VSA)
Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) is the non-governmental organization and its members consist of iron and steel producers, and distribution agencies, who engage in steel processing and sales, voluntarily participate.
VSA was established for the aim of promoting cooperation among the members in speeding up the steel industry with stronger and sustainable development, matching the requirements of the country’s industrialization and modernization.
VSA is a strong bridge to joint in between the enterprises and the State management Agencies; between the domestic steel industry with the South East Asia iron and steel Institute (SEAISI) and other countries. VSA currently has over 100 members including: Steel producers; Trading companies/ Representative Offices & Others
The main activities & Service:
Joining bridge function in between the enterprises and State Management Agencies and the Government;
Consulting to steel investment projects (domestic & FDI); participating in building up the steel industry development planning;
Protecting legitimate interests of VSA’s members;
Consultancy on technical technology and legal issue for the members;
Organizing seminars, symposia to improve management capacity, technology operation for the members;
Work as a mediator to the issues arising among members;
Propagating and promoting VSA’s members via Website: vsa.com.vn;
Collecting and providing steel-related information; monthly publishing VSA’s newsletter;
Organizing business delegations to visit, survey on trade promotion programs at potential markets;
Yearly co-organizing workshops and exhibitions with SEAISI & AISC in Vietnam.
